About Me

Hi my name is Aran and I’m a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

I specialise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and am passionate about helping individuals restore independence and optimise their quality of life. I have an undergraduate degree in Sports and Exercise Science and a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy. Having worked in healthcare since 2013 I have worked closely with patients undergoing elective and orthopaedic surgery in a major trauma centre, providing pre and post-operative rehabilitation. I have also worked in a specialist hand and plastics department and treat patients with Musculoskeletal injuries on a daily basis both in a GP surgery and clinic setting.

I am also a keen sportsman and know all too well how injuries can impact on this, having experienced multiple sporting injuries of my own.

The aim of musculoskeletal physiotherapy is to reduce pain and discomfort, encourage correct movement patterns and reduce risk of re-injury. I treat those of all functional abilities and ages and take the time to get to know you as an individual, enabling treatment to be tailored to your specific needs.

My Approach

My treatment techniques favour a combination of a hands on approach and development of individualised rehabilitation programmes. I also feel strongly about the importance of educating my patients, empowering them and arming them with the tools to self-manage and prevent the risk of future re-injury.

I keep up to date with current research to ensure my practice remains evidence-based and aim to see my patients as quickly as possible with the aim of reducing recovery times, allowing you to return to your day-to-day activities as swiftly as possible.
