About Me

I completed my Level 5 Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage through the Oxford School of Sports Massage. I can assist with rehabilitation of pain related to injury, sport, lifestyle, or posture. As well as clinic experience, I have provided pre and post event support at The London Marathon and a number of local events. I take great pride in my professionalism, holds high standards for her practice, and aims to keep her knowledge up to date and I am a member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA) and the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage (ISRM).

I originally studied education at The University of Stirling – Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence. Throughout my time at the university I was immersed in the sporting world – I took up a number of sports including running, weight lifting, water polo, aerial silks, and netball and took part in the Sports Innovation Challenge. My goal is to help others to access the physical, mental, social, and emotional benefits that I have experienced personally through engaging with sport and fitness. This, and my curiosity about the musculoskeletal system, lead me to pursue a career in soft tissue therapy.

How I Can Help

Sports and remedial massage is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body (muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia). It aims to restore flexibility, mobility, posture, and functional capacity, and reduce pain.

Sports massage can aid healing and management of:

  • Strains and sprains

  • Runner's knee

  • Golfer's / tennis elbow

  • Shin splints

  • Sciatica

  • Neck or back pain

  • Stress, depression, and anxiety (as a complementary therapy)

  • Postural pain

  • Tension headaches

  • Frozen shoulder or impingement

  • General stiffness and aches

And much more!
